As the Chairman of both Atlas Petroleum International and Oranto Petroleum, and the major shareholder of both companies, Prince Arthur Eze has overall control of the group’s ventures throughout Africa. His regional perspective and significance as a leading African executive put Atlas and Oranto at an advantage in understanding the perspectives and priorities of host nations and timeframe constraints to delivering success.
Based in Abuja, Nigeria, and with interests in a diverse range of industries, Atlas and Oranto benefit from Prince Eze’s impressive business network. As a Nigerian with the benefit of an European and American engineering education, Prince Eze provides corporate strategy and direction to meet the unique challenges of operating in so many diverse African jurisdictions. At the same time, under his guidance, Atlas and Oranto strive to ensure that the highest global standards of corporate compliance and health and safety are maintained at all times.
Located at our Lagos operational headquarters, Group Managing Director Steve Snow supervises group operations. Included in this role, Steve is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all regulations applicable to a field operator and licensee in the various African jurisdictions where Atlas and Oranto operate.
Prince Olisa Eze leads the day to day management and administration of the group’s entire West African portfolio. The role requires engagement with principals and government contacts in the respective petroleum ministries of the 10 jurisdictions in which Atlas and Oranto are currently active. His attendance at technical and operational committee meetings gives partner companies and ministries access to the decision-making process for all aspects of portfolio management for our 21 licences.
